LA Angels are willing to do everything to end their historic losing streak this season. Even after firing Joe Maddon as their manager, the Angels have lost two games in a row. In a recent game against the Boston Red Sox, the Angels tried something different.

Yes! The Angels used a unique strategy to get their players back in their beast mode. With every player coming into the ballpark, the Angels welcomed them with a Nickelback song. They used different Nickelback songs for all their players. Despite that, they could not avoid a record 14th consecutive defeat in the current season.

Apart from the first couple of months, the Angels have rarely challenged their opponents. As things stand, they might not make it to the playoffs. Because after the ongoing series against the Red Sox, they have to face the two of the strongest teams in the National League; the New York Mets and the LA Dodgers.

Even Nickelback could not save the LA Angels

Per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN, the Angels management came up with the idea to welcome their players with a Nickelback song. Taking to the microblogging site, Gonzalez shared this information.

“I can report that every Angels player will walk up to Nickelback tonight. The coaches decided it as a way to shake things up. So, if the Angels snap their losing streak tonight, you can thank Nickelback,” Alden Gonzalez tweeted.

He also revealed the name of the songs that the Angels players walked up to in the ballpark.

Ohtani: “Photograph”

Adell: “Rockstar”

Walsh: “How You Remind Me”

Duffy: “Someday”

Lagares: “If Today Was Your Last Day”

Marsh: “When We Stand Together”

Mayfield: “What Are You Waiting For?”

Suzuki: “This Afternoon”

Wade: “Animals”
