Even after 7 years of his retirement, MLB legend Alex Rodriguez does not prefer to rest. Currently enjoying his post-retirement career as a businessman, A-Rod has had an emotional rollercoaster over the last few days. Notably, the New York Yankees legend was diagnosed with gum disease in the last few days. Furthermore, he has dealt with an emotional experience as a father. But most recently, he and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro enjoyed a trip to the Balkans.

A-Rod revealed his diagnosis during a recent interview and even pledged to raise awareness about oral health. The Yankees legend has now taken a much-needed holiday with Cordeiro as he deals with the health diagnosis and other emotional events.

It has been over eight months since Alex Rodriguez and Jaclyn Cordeiro have been dating. The two have been spotted together on many dates and have traveled together on multiple occasions. The couple has enjoyed snowy Minnesota together among other trips. Most recently, they escaped to Montenegro in the Balkans. Cordeiro shared an Instagram Story from the trip of her and A-Rod. The Yankees legend also shared some video footage from the holiday in a story.

In her story, Cordeiro said, “@AROD” and “Bay of Kotor – Kotor, Montenegro”, tagging Rodriguez and sharing one of their destinations. She also shared a picture of her at Stari Grad in Kotor. The vacation is a much-needed getaway time, as Rodriguez processes the various changes in his life.

His gum disease diagnosis was a shocking occurrence as it concerns his health. But he is also dealing with an emotional moment as a father. His older daughter recently graduated High School and is going to college later this year. This is a bittersweet moment for A-Rod, as he is proud but also emotional to see Natasha prepare for college.

Alex Rodriguez is extremely proud as his older daughter Natasha has graduated from High School. The Yankees legend was present for the graduation with a beautiful bouquet. But recently, he also wrote and read a personal letter for his daughter. But A-Rod could not complete reading it in front of his family as he broke down into tears. He considers Natasha a role model for him, rather than him being her role model.
