A new day means a unique and whimsical Lenny Dykstra antic. This time, the former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder continued to add his pearls of wisdom on the heated Andrew Tate vs Greta Thunberg battle, with the added taste of a special New Year’s message for his followers.

The internet has witnessed a contentious exchange between Tate and climate activist Thunberg. The altercation began when Tate, a former kickboxer with a tarnished reputation, derisively commented on the emissions produced by his car while mocking Thunberg and her efforts to improve the environment. In response to that, Thunberg shut him down with her response, “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com.” But what did Dykstra have to say on this ongoing battle?

How did Lenny Dykstra wish everyone a Happy New Year?

Dykstra being Dykstra, he had a response to the earlier Tweet as well, where he ridiculed the 19-year-old activist by referring to her physical stature and unashamedly her age. The former MLB champ said, “Should Greta Thunberg… really be bringing up the size of people’s personal parts?”

Similarly, even this time, Dykstra reached out to Andrew Tate’s recent-most response to Greta Thunberg. And along with a New Year’s wish for his followers, he added some special advice for the duo.

The former MLB slugger made his MLB debut in 1985 with the New York Mets and was instrumental in their 1986 World Championship victory. Two and a half decades post his retirement, the three-time All-Star is regaining popularity through his spur-of-the-moment tweets, which are routinely political and almost always contemptuous.

However, through it all, the outfielder-turned-tweleb manages to find a decent fan base, complimenting and acknowledging his rather questionable comments, which in turn motivates him to continue akin to his comments on Brittney Griner, Ukraine, and support toward former USA President, Donald Trump.
