Today, almost three decades after walking his final steps in the ballpark with the Phillies in 1996, Lenny Dykstra lashes out at a new person every day. This time, it’s the globally loved Hugh Jackman. What could Hugh Jackman have done to anger Lenny? Or how are the two related? As a matter of fact, they’re not. But these two questions sum up Lenny’s recent Twitter activities.

Recently, $106 billion man, Bill Gates, published a book called ‘How to Avoid a Climate Disaster – The Solutions We Have and the Solutions We Need’. Following the release of the book, Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman shot a video praising the book and talking about its optimism and easy access to the entire world.

However, this emotion of Jackman didn’t resonate with the MLB Veteran, Dykstra, who instantly reached his Twitter handle and lashed out at Hugh Jackman while describing him as someone who’s “bootlicking” Bill Gates.

Hugh Jackman – at the receiving end of Lenny Dykstra

Lenny Dykstra, who has also taken shots at young climate activist Greta Thunberg in the past, attacked Jackman and his book on climate change.

Dykstra, while accusing Jackman of unnecessarily flattering Bill Gates, in an uncalled-for attack, said, “#HughJackman being a good little Pedowood sheep and bootlicking #BillGates and his book on “climate change.”

In the video praising Bill Gates’ book, Jackman spoke about how the book is an easy read, and Bill Gates added his own optimistic personality to the book.

He said, “It’s astonishing. If you’re at all intimidated by just the subject of climate change, or a bit confused by the different views, this is for you. It is so clear. Where we are right now, and where we need to go. And it’s just such a gift that one of the smartest people on Earth has made it so accessible for literally every person on the planet to understand this subject, to know where we need to go moving forward. And Bills’ an optimist, it’s so easy to read stuff that sounds very pessimistic around this subject. But there are ways for us to move forward and this book outlines it. Highly, highly recommend it.”
