Others train throughout the off-season and fix any deficiencies that they may have in their games. The Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout is famous for balancing his off-season.
The Angels slugger enjoys both working out and spending time with his family during his break from baseball. Most recently, he was seen enjoying a snowy holiday with his wife this off-season, to get away from the stress.

Although the Angels star Mike Trout is known for his workouts and family fun during the off-season, this time was different. The star outfielder enjoyed a snowy getaway with his wife Jessica in Aspen, Colorado. Trout shared photos of the holiday on Twitter. He shared pictures of the scenery, the place they were staying, and him and his wife.

Aspen you were amazing now it’s time to get back to our little man 😍.” The Angels’ star took the time to rest and relax with his wife. In the off-season, he even showed off his golf swing.

Mike had another fantastic 2022 season, but the Angels faltered again, winning only 73 games. Despite having Trout for the last 12 years, they have only made it to the postseason once in that time. They have even had two-way star Shohei Ohtani for the last 5 years and that hasn’t helped much either.
Trout needs help to make the postseason
The Los Angeles Angels have not made the postseason in a long time. According to CBS Sports, “They have not been to the postseason since 2014 nor won a postseason game since 2009.” This is despite Mike Trout’s fantastic play over that same period. Trout is one of the best players in the MLB right now, but he cannot carry the Angels to the playoffs.

The team has to put better players around him. With Shohei Ohtani possibly leaving as a free agent in 2024, the situation is even direr.
