Manny Ramirez’s son Luca Ramirez has committed to play baseball

Manny Ramirez may be done with his baseball career, but his involvement with the game will not end anytime soon. The MLB legend’s son is pursuing the sport and has committed to playing baseball for the University of Tennessee’s Volunteers. Ramirez shared a Tweet from the Twitter account Minority Baseball Prospects and reacted to it.

In his Tweet, Ramirez sent emojis that conveyed his approval, “🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.” The Tweet from Minority Baseball Prospects said “GO VOLS 2024 MBP Future All-American #lucaramirez #commits to @Vol_Baseball 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Son of @therealmanny99”.

Fans reacted to the MLB legend’s Tweet and seem excited to see his son play at the University of Tennessee. Some fans lauded the recruitment done by the University. Others talked about Luca Ramirez as a prospect.

Notably, it must have been a good sight for baseball fans, Red Sox fans in particular, reacting to Ramirez’s news with such hype. Manny Ramirez will be extremely proud to see his son take the next step in his career. It might even bring up old feelings and a longing to play the game. The Red Sox legend recently expressed his desire to play in the MLB again. It may be too late as he gets into his 50s, but fans will always remember what he achieved.
