Miami Marlins have been an average side in the ongoing MLB season. Considering they still have to play over 100 games this season, the Marlins had a closed-door meeting earlier this week. The meeting was more about how to win games in the rest of the 2022 season.

After their World Series win in the 2003 season, the Marlines have failed to maintain their reputation in Major League baseball. Even in the current season, the Marlins are fourth in the National League East division.

Coming back to their recent team meeting, one Marlins player complained about his teammate, Jazz Chisholm, for being too good in the ballparks. Notably, the 24-year-old Bahamian second baseman is having his breakthrough season with the Marlins in 2022.

Miami Marlins’ star Jazz Chisholm was the ‘subject of criticism’ in the latest meeting

If playing good baseball is a crime, then Jazz Chisholm has done it with perfection. Yes! In the latest team meeting, one Miami Marlins player had problems with Jazz Chisholm’s remarkable form. Although the player’s name has not come into the light, the Marlins player is jealous of Jazz’s consistent performance.

Per Fox Sports, the key topics of the team meeting were the discipline and attitude of players. “The Marlins reportedly had a closed-door meeting on Tuesday addressing issues of work ethic, effort on and off-field. And how some players dress going to ballpark,” MLB Fox shared this on Instagram.

The Marlins player also compared Jazz Chisholm with the NBA legend Dennis Rodman. “Jazz is like Dennis Rodman. He will always be a lightning rod. But he works and plays hard,” said the Instagram post.

Jazz has smashed 12 home runs and 40 RBIs in the current season. However, after the meeting, things have changed for the Marlins. They have won four games in a row, including a statement victory over the AL giants, Houston Astros.

Even if the Marlins improve their performances, it will be difficult for them to better their position in the NL East. Because heavyweights like the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies are too strong to lose against the Marlins.
