Christmas is a time of family, festive spirit, and gift-giving. This applies to baseball fans as well. During this holiday season, most baseball fans are excited to get memorabilia and merchandise related to their favorite team or player. One young Atlanta Braves fan had his Christmas dream come true when he was presented with a special gift. 

The young fan was gifted an Atlanta Braves jersey and seemed very happy about it.  What may surprise people is which player’s name is on the back of the jersey.

A Twitter video shared by Farm to Fame shows a young Atlanta Braves fan opening his present. The young boy opens his gift and it’s a Michael Harris II jersey. The young fan shows happiness at his gift and even tears up a little bit. In the tweet, Farm to Fame said “This reaction to opening a Michael Harris jersey is awesome 🥺”. 

The reaction to receiving the jersey is very wholesome and shows that the young kid is a true fan.

Fans reacted to the wholesome moment and shared their thoughts on it, Many enjoyed the sweet moment and shared their own Christmas experiences. But the best part is that the player himself replied to the video.

At one point in the 2022 season, the Atlanta Braves were in record-breaking form. They will be looking to build on that and have a great 2023 season as well. Michael Harris II figures to be a big part of that after a fantastic rookie season. 

Michael Harris II was rookie of the year for the 2022 season

In 2019, Harris II was selected in the third round of the MLB Draft by the Atlanta Braves. For the next couple of years, he would play in the Minor Leagues before finally getting his chance at the Majors in 2022. It’s safe to say that he took the opportunity with both hands and ran with it. Furthermore, Harris II won the NL Rookie of the Year award for his efforts.
