MLB icon Alex Rodriguez before bidding farewell to the game in 2016, earned a lot of accolades to his name. And now, even though it’s been over six years since he picked up a baseball bat, the fourteen times all-star player has continued to maintain his popularity. The business mogul managed to build a $350 million worth of fortune via a multitude of business ventures and by becoming a media personality. While building this fortune, he did not forget to pay back to the community he came from. Until now, he has been involved with numerous charities, helping them raise funds for various causes related to education, health, and youth development.
Rodriguez has lived a tough life and understands the importance of the smallest things. He was always being a bright child. Therefore, A-Rod has given back to the community at every chance he gets. His recent appearance is one such example of urging his fans to bring their wallets.

While he continues to aim to give back to the communities, A-Rod is scheduled to appear at a high school charity baseball game between Christopher Columbus and Westminster Christian high schools. Both the high schools are the former athlete’s alma maters, making the game extra special for him.

Via his Instagram story, Rodriguez let his millions of followers know about the charity game whose proceeds will go to the Ari Arteaga foundation. Aside from this, he also let his fans know that he’ll be throwing out the first pitch. He did so while urging them to come and make the game a success. Talking about the game, he said, “They call it the game at the light, for the light. Show up, I’ll be the first pitch. Cheer for your team but bring your wallets and let’s raise some money today for a great cause.”
Alex’s dedication to making a positive impact on people’s lives through his charitable work has earned him the respect and admiration of many, both on and off the field. His controversial past in the game made it tough for him to regain the respect he lost. But his determination to give back to society helped him to shine once again.
