Two of the Boras Four have found their destination in settling deals. However, the market is counting on the remaining two: Blake Snell and Jordan Montgomery. Though the former has been constantly linked with the New York Yankees, the latter is anticipated to reunite with his former team after his A-game with the Texas Rangers. Among the wild guesses, a recent projection stirred the discussion, bringing in six other teams, for each of the two, to the mix.

Bellinger, who has been interested in a long-term deal, ultimately landed a three-year deal with his former team. Similar stance described, Chapman’s deal, who recently signed the Giants for shorter periods. Now, considering their flexibility in their former asking, speculations arise concerning Snell and Montgomery deals, as they have a number of pursuers behind them after showing flexibility in their demand. Adding Montgomery to the Yankees’ roster will allow them to bolster their pitching segment without putting excessive stress on their financial boundaries. However, Monty has emphasized the chances of reuniting with his former team, the Texas Rangers, making them the biggest contenders of the Yankees.

On a similar note, another MLB insider, John Heyman, stated, “If the Yankees get him, they possess the game’s best one-two pitching combo and become World Series favorites, even over the (Los Angeles Dodgers),” referring to the Pinstripes’ Snell. On the other hand, their Snell addition has been a widely admired topic for long as this can add to Gerrit Cole and Juan Soto’s strength significantly. While talking about the probabilities of contract, the iconic pitcher, Juan Soto, seemed immensely optimistic.

Per projections, it remains entirely up to the Bronx as if they are interested in making an offer yet again.
