With the 2023 MLB regular season starting soon, fans and followers are excited to watch their favorite teams play. This includes baseball legend Alex Rodriguez, who will look forward to some MLB action after a long off-season break. Rodriguez seems to be excited to watch the New York Yankees play, in particular.

The Yankees will be an exciting team to watch in 2023, with newly appointed captain Aaron Judge leading the way. Most recently, A-Rod referenced his jersey number while counting down the days to the Yankees’ first regular season game.

Alex Rodriguez is counting down the days to the Yankees’ Opening Day

Alex Rodriguez is looking forward to seeing the New York Yankees play again. The former Bronx legend recently shared an Instagram story counting down the days till the Yankees’ Opening Day. In the post, he referenced his jersey number 13. This was pointing to the fact that there are 13 days till the Yankees play their first game. This was a nice way for the Yankee legend to reference his own playing days with the team.

The Yankees finished the 2022 season at the top of the AL East with 99 wins. But their postseason ended in the ALCS where they were knocked out. This season, they will hope to have a similarly great regular season but also win the World Series.

Spring Training has not been kind to the Yankees, with several key players sustaining injuries. These injured stars are doubted to be ready for Opening Day and the Bronx Bombers will be severely depleted.
