Derek Jeter revealed what he would tell his dates about his job title
Dating back to 2004, when Derek Jeter was at the peak of his professional career, he was the heartthrob in the sporting world. While talking to Diane K. Shah of Play Boy, the then-Yankees shortstop, Jeter said he would tell that he does a night job, had his date asked about the same.

When asked more about the same, the Yankees legend said he would say that he is in the entertainment business. Here is how the conversation went about the same.
Play Boy: “Have you ever had to explain to a date what you do for a living?”
Jeter: “I say I have a night job.”
Play Boy: “That’s it?”
JETER: “And that I’m in the entertainment business. [smiles]”
Despite having his name associated with several celebrities, Jeter did not dirty his character
Be it Jessica Biel, Mariah Carey, or even Minka Kelly, Jeter has dated several Hollywood celebrities. And despite that, he has never found himself in any controversy.

Later, in 2016, Jeter married the Swimsuit model Hannah Davis and finally got settled in his personal life. Currently, he is the father of three lovely daughters with his loving wife, Hannah.
