Captain Clutch played a role in bringing Jazz to the Marlins

In 2020, Jazz Chisholm Jr. made his MLB debut with the Miami Marlins as a second baseman, under the helm of Derek Jeter. The then-Marlins CEO Jeter expressed his pride after Chisholm Jr. made it to the cover of MLB The Show.

Jeter said, “You know the great thing about Jazz is, he’s from the Bahamas, and baseball is such an international sport. You love to see this, because, you know, he’s setting an example for young men and women growing up in the Bahamas knowing that they have an opportunity to make it to, you know, the top of their profession. So I couldn’t be prouder of him. It’s a big deal to be on the cover.”
