The position for which the Yankees legend Derek Jeter once got famous, he was not the best at it from the start. In fact, just by looking at the errors, he made at that time, people have said that Jeter will not make it as a shortstop. Jeter made 56 errors on a SAL record and then turned it all around for himself.

After committing 56 errors, and getting called by almost everybody to change the position, if he wanted to stay in the game, the captain changed it all around.

For all the 20 seasons that Jeter played in Major League Baseball, he played as a member of the New York Yankees. Not only did he spread his charm among the fans, but he also took his team to another level. With Jeter, the New York Yankees have won five World Series, 2009’s championship to be the team’s last. Out of many special days of Jeter’s career, 25th Sep would be the most memorable, not only for Jeter but for every person who ever watched him play.

Eight years ago, on September 25, 2014, marked the day when the Yankees legend Derek Jeter wore the Pinstripes for the last time. He gave the fans a magical ending in his last game and also took the team to a win for the last time.
