After the defeat against the Twins, Kershaw expressed his disappointment on how he couldn’t get it right and thanked everyone for all the well-wishes that poured in over the weekend. All things considered, it wasn’t a usual game for Kershaw, who never settled into the mound, and the Dodger veteran’s uncharacteristic lack of precision, particularly evident in his four-seam fastball, became apparent in a short span of time. All in all, he could only throw four innings, conceding seven hits and two runs.
Moreover, it was his first loss at home in nearly 2 years.
