The postseason in Major League Baseball is running in its second phase, i.e., the division series. This year, instead of the usual 10 teams, twelve teams made it to the postseason. Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Angels were not one of those. Therefore, for the eighth time in a row, the ten times All-star player Mike Trout was not able to show off his strength in the ballpark during the postseason.

Instead, Trout decided to spend some time with his two-year-old son, Beckham Trout. While some people thought it was good for Trout to have some quality time with his son, the majority of people on the Internet chose to mock Angel’s star for being free in October.

How did Mike Trout spend time with his son?

Mike ‘Prince Fish’ Trout posted a picture of his son holding a Bass that his son caught. Later, somebody posted a TikTok video of Trout in which he clearly was hyping his son to go for it, “get it up” and the junior Trout did exactly that. He caught a big bass and looked rather happy while he looked at it.

Regarded as one of the best current players in all of Major League Baseball, Trout has achieved multiple awards since his debut in 2011. Three years ago, the star signed a 12-year contract with the LA Angels for $426 million. It is the biggest contract in the history of Major League Baseball. Trout is giving his best ever since he started playing, but sometimes it still is not enough.

October is the time for the postseason, and Trout hasn’t been in one since 2014. Therefore, as the video and picture got posted, MLB fans criticized him.

What are the fans saying about Trout?

A few people appreciated Mike for spending some quality time with his son and found it good.

But others chose to make fun of Trout being free every October.
