Earning his love for bowling from his mother at an early age, Betts competed in the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) World Series of Bowling in Reno, Nevada, in 2015 and 2017. He also competed with professional bowler Tommy Jones while winning CP3 PBA Celebrity Invitational.
