Recently, he sat on an interview with R2C2, named “Barry Bonds’ Love For Baseball, The Art of Hitting, and a Forever Legacy | R2C2 – Full Episode.” Here, they have been talking casually about Bonds’ career, his evolution to become a power hitter, his preparation to face pitchers, etc.

At one point, the hosts asked him about his routine when he went to the Ballpark. The 14x All-Star laughed and replied, “Yeah, I went to sleep.” Bursting into laughter, he continued, “Any player that played with me, any team, they’ll all tell you. What did Barry do at the ballpark? He went to the gym, he went to sleep. If you want to know my routine, I was asleep most of the time at the clubhouse.” This is indeed a unique response from a player who used to be the most fierce hitter of his time.

Once he shared his feelings in another interview and said, “I think, I wish, I could have done some things different….”

He regrets his behavior toward his teammates and that he would have changed if he got another chance. He mentioned he would have been more humble to his companions and said, “Okay guys, let’s go over here, create some space, had a little bit more fun with it.” This legend even regrets of being a loner for his entire life, without a friend to support him during the crisis.
