While baseball can bring happiness in many ways, sometimes it can also bring sadness. And a recent incident with the Milwaukee Brewers fan would be an example of the same. It’s true that baseball brings people together, and it did bring joy to this Brewers fan’s life until the moment she went to a game on Sunday. 

As the long-timed Brewers fan, Sarah Herdeman, went to a game after over a decade, it turned into a nightmare for her. Going to a game after so long had already taken quite a lot of willpower for Sarah. And the game, which was supposed to become a good memory for her, became the reason for her despising going to that game. 

What happened to the Milwaukee Brewers fan at the game?

Brewers baseball has always been a part of Sarah’s life, mainly because of her father. Back in 2010, her father gifted her a special customized Brewers jersey with her nickname, “Beans,” and her favorite number, “11,” on it. Shortly after her dad gave her that gift, he passed away.

Since then, Sarah could not bring it to herself to go and watch a baseball game without her father. And when she eventually did on Sunday, wearing the jersey her father gave her, it got stolen. “My heart stopped. I could not see. I could barely even breathe,” said Sarah to Fox6 News while telling her story about the jersey that was pretty close to her heart.

Sarah took off the precious jersey only for moments because of the heat and had left it in front of her friends to get a drink. However, when she returned, the jersey was nowhere to be found, and none of her friends had seen someone take it.

The Brewers fan simply wants her gem back!

That customized jersey from her father was nothing less of a gem for Sarah. And she simply wants that gem back. Mainly because she does not want to lose yet another piece of her father for a second time. 

She also spoke that she did not want anyone in trouble for taking the jersey. Herdeman also added that she’d be rewarding the person for returning her that sentimental piece of gem.
