The New York Yankees legend, Derek Jeter, is one of the greatest players Major League Baseball has ever seen. He is one of the undisputed and most liked players in the history of baseball.

Jeter became one of the players to have his jersey retired. He also got inducted into the Hall of Fame in the year 2020.

The baseball legend talked about the people who would be in part 2 of his personal Hall of Fame.

This year in May, the shortstop shocked everyone when he finally entered social media. He felt that he finally had no reasons left not to join social media. Also, he had some amazing projects that he wanted to share with his fans.

After his docuseries, ‘The Captain’ became pretty successful, the Yankees legend talked about the people who would be in his personal Hall of Fame. In part 1 of his HOF, he talked about his father. Also, he talked about the role he played in helping him become who he is today.

Then came part 2, where he talked about his mother. He said, “Next up is my mom, Dorothy Jeter. My mom has always supported my dream to become a professional baseball player but also insisted on the importance of education. In fact, as kids, my parents had us sign contracts, agreeing to bring home good grades and allocate time for school then sports.”

How Derek Jeter is spending his time post retirement?

Derek Jeter was sorted on how he wanted to spend his life after retirement from the New York Yankees. On the top of the list of things to do after retirement was to start a family. He got married to the supermodel, Hannah Davis, and they became proud parents of three beautiful daughters.

After starting a family, Jeter with one of his mates, started ‘The player’s Tribune’ to give players the platform they required to shine. Other than this, he also owns a publishing house.
