While on the Yankees, none of the pitchers played well, now, they have been leading their current team towards the first World Series Championship after 2011 and defeated one of the strongest favorites of the season, the Houston Astros, in the ALCS. As Eovaldi has been playing impressively with a .96 WHIP and 26.0 IP, Montgomery did a great job in ALCS Game 1 by wrapping up the opponent with 6 1/3 scoreless innings with six strikeouts. The former will probably lead the team in the World Series Game 1, beginning on October 27.?
