Out of all leagues in American sports, Major League Baseball is probably the busiest league. With all 30 teams playing games on a daily basis, MLB players also get more injuries compared to other leagues such as the NFL and NBA. And Alex Rodriguez said the same on an SNL sketch.
Even though it was a hilarious take, the NBA legend Charles Barkley did not hesitate and trolled the Yankees’ legend over injuries in baseball. Notably, in 2018, A-Rod and Barkley appeared on the infamous Saturday Night Live skit. The two joked and made fun of their rival sports.

When talking about A-Rod, the MLB World Series winner has played over 23 years of baseball. A-Rod won almost everything a baseball player dreams of. On the other hand, an 11-time All-Starer and the NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley also has a decorated career in the National Basketball Association.
Alex Rodriguez had no words when Charles Barkley trolled him over minor injuries in baseball

But when Alex Rodriguez talked about the injury in baseball and how difficult it is to play the game, Barkley trolled the Yankees legend. He said baseball players think that even a broken fingernail is an injury.
“Look, baseball players historically get injured often,” Alex Rodriguez said.
“Yeah, but baseball players think a broken fingernail is an injury. Am I right?” Charles Barkley trolled the Yankees legend.

Notably, their comments were just for entertainment. But if one thinks, A-Rod’s point seems right. Given he has played over two decades in MLB, who better than A-Rod to tell about injuries in baseball?
