Per a recent podcast on The Jordan Harbinger Show, A-Rod opened up about a meeting he had with the NBA legend Magic Johnson 25 years ago. The former Yankee revealed that their 30-minute meeting ended up in a three-hour meeting. And Johnson shared his playbook with him.

“He is an incredible human being. He was my favorite baseball player of all time… About 25 years ago, we went out for a little coffee for supposed to be 30 minutes. And three hours later, 11 pages of notes later, I was thrilled and humbled that he shared his playbook with me,” A-Rod said.

“What he shared with me that night 25 years ago over three hours of dinner, it’s a lot of the staples that I run A-Rod Corp today.”
