The Minnesota Timberwolves have had a decent run of form, winning 6 of their last 10 games. But their latest win over the Houston Rockets came with a little joke. Alex Rodriguez posted a video that got fans laughing at the expense of Anthony Edwards. The video showcased a boomerang of Edwards dancing and A-Rod synced it with Bad Bunny’s song “Después de la Playa”.

In the Instagram Post, A-Rod said, “Merengue time in Minny🕺🏽🇩🇴”. The video was funny and probably got a laugh out of many fans. Edwards won’t mind it considering he dropped 44 points in the win over the Rockets. Furthermore, he has been in fantastic form of late.

Minnesota Timberwolves Owner Alex Rodriguez’s Nasty Bump With 26-Year-Old NBA Star Terrifies His Girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro

As an owner, Rodriguez will want Edwards and the rest of the Timberwolves roster to keep up the good spirits. He will also want them to continue winning basketball games. Alex Rodriguez recently made the second installment of the payment for the Timberwolves. But there is still one step left in the deal. 

A-Rod still has one installment left to pay for the Timberwolves

Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore still have one installment left to pay for the team. They currently own 40% of the team and have the option to buy another 40% by 2023. But if they do not make the payment, they will be kept as minority owners. According to the New York Post’s David Scott, “If they miss any payments, Taylor has the right to nullify their deal and retain them as minority owners.”

But Rodriguez and Lore have more than enough time to gather the required money to get the deal done. Furthermore, A-Rod has enjoyed ownership and will want to take a controlling interest in the team.
