Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan do not need an introduction. They are two of the greatest ever to represent their respective sports. Jordan gave something very special to the game of basketball in America, while Jeter dominated an era in Major League Baseball.

Notably, Jeter and Jordan have been friends for a while now. With both showing mutual respect, their friendship only grew over time. Even though they do not play their respective sports anymore, fans will never forget their immense contribution to American sports.

Not to forget that Michael Jordan has also played baseball in his younger days. And their friendship also started because of baseball. Recently, Jeter revealed that Jordan still teases him for a competitive reason. Not to forget that Jeter has led the Yankees to five World Series titles.

The same goes for MLB legend Derek Jeter. During his 20 years of a baseball career, Jeter played only for the New York Yankees and made them one of the most dominating sides in MLB’s history.

Knowing that Jordan and Jeter are long-time friends, the NBA legend teases Jeter for his winning one more championship than him. Per The Sports Rush, when the interviewer asked Jeter if he thinks about Jordan having six championships, the Yankees legend said Jordan reminds him all the time.

“Think about it? Of course, I think about it. He reminds me all the time,” Jeter said.

Was Jeter getting the MLB Hall of Fame induction fare?

Derek Jeter devoted his entire professional career to the New York Yankees. And it was worth it. Because winning five championships is no joke in a league as competitive as Major League Baseball. But he did it in style.
