Before turning completely towards the business world, business mogul Alex Rodriguez spent over two decades playing in Major League Baseball. In his career as a ballplayer, he broke several records while getting a vast number of accolades to his name. As he progressed professionally, the former Yankees legend underwent significant changes in his personal life. He got separated from his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, and not long after, started dating other women. After more than a decade of separation from Scurtis, he is now dating Canadian fitness expert Jaclyn Cordeiro. 

And from the looks of it, the former MLB slugger is having the time of his life. And recently, he saved his partner from taking a massive hit to her during an NBA game. 

Cordeiro thanked her beau, Alex Rodriguez!

For those unversed, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is a part owner of the NBA team, Minnesota Timberwolves. Therefore, it is no surprise that the ex-athlete is there at his team’s games, cheering for them. Last night, as the Timberwolves went against Houston Rockets, A-Rod with his girlfriend was there to cheer for the team.

As the game went on, while trying to save the ball from going off the court, the Timberwolves shooting guard went straight toward Rodriguez. On his right side was sitting Cordeiro, who, if didn’t have A-Rod right where he was, could have gotten hurt by the giant Russell. As the ex-Yankee put in the clip of him getting brick-walled by Russell, his girlfriend professed her love for him by saying, “Thanks for saving my life love” with a heart emoji right beside it. 

It’s been only a few months since the couple started dating, but they have already gone on more than two vacations alone and with their kids. And now, by all accounts, the two seem to be too fond of each other.

Will A-Rod tie the knot with Cordeiro?

Since getting separated from his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, A-Rod has made only one attempt to settle down. He did so by proposing to his ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. The two were briefly engaged for two years before breaking up in April 2021. 

The reasons for their breaking up are still best known to them. But since then, Cordeiro is the second woman Rodriguez is dating and the first he has been posting about. But what lies in their future is still unknown.
