Ever since winning the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors star, Stephen Curry, has been all over the internet. Having been playing in the NBA for over ten years, Curry has been one of the most consistent performers in the game.

At 34, the Warriors’ star has achieved the pinnacle of the game. Given he can still play for at least 6 to 7 years in the National Basketball Association, Curry is on his way to becoming an all-time great in the game. Though Steph Curry is a basketball great, he also loves to watch baseball sometimes. An ardent follower of baseball, the Warriors’ star supports the San Francisco Giants in Major League Baseball.

Talking about his performance for the Golden State Warriors, Curry has been phenomenal this season. His performances against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals also earned him his first-ever MVP Award in the NBA Finals.

Stephen Curry was in attendance at the AT&T Stadium to cheer for his favorite team

During the 2015 MLB season, when the SF Giants were the defending champions of the World Series, Curry showed up at the AT&T Stadium to support his favorite baseball team. Curry received a massive ovation from the crowd for his presence.

The video of the same incident is still available on YouTube. One can see how the crowd goes berserk when they see Curry in the stands wearing a Giants cap. The game was between the San Francisco Giants and Atlanta Braves, two of the best teams in the National League.

Despite being a basketball player, Curry also knows a thing or two about baseball. Once he tossed a perfect first pitch into a baseball game that left everyone stunned. Yes! The four-time NBA Champion threw the ceremonial pitch for a baseball game between the Tokyo Giants and Yakult Swallows in the 2018 off-season. What was more surprising was that he tossed the pitch like a professional baseball pitcher.

Per USA Today, Curry has got his baseball skills in heritage from his father. His father was a part of the MLB franchise, Baltimore Orioles. But Curry’s father pursued his career in basketball.

With four NBA titles, two league MVPs, and one NBA Finals MVP, Stephen Curry is one of the greatest ever to play the game.
