And not only that, but if A-Rod fails to generate money for the second installment to purchase the NAB side, his ownership will be in real danger. On the other hand, business tycoon Marc Lore, who owns the majority of the share, will not mind having a different partner coming on board.

While talking about the same, renowned American sports analysts Judd Zulgad and Phil Mackey discussed the possibility of Derek Jeter replacing A-Rod as a second partner to Lore.

What if Derek Jeter replaces Alex Rodriguez to become the part-owner of the Timberwolves?
Judd Zulgad predicted, eventually, Alex Rodriguez will not be a part of the Timberwolves’ ownership. And if there is any chance, Jeter might come on board with Lore.

The senior analyst also pointed out how Jeter wanted to own a baseball team in his docuseries. Although the Timberwolves are an NBA side, Jeter will not mind becoming the part-owner of the Timberwolves. Even if he has to replace his old buddy, A-Rod.

Currently, Alex Rodriguez owns only 7% shares of Timberwolves, while Marc Lore has 13% shares in his name. Notably, the duo paid $250 million for 20% of the Timberwolves.
