An image has resurfaced of the NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal and the Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez showing the former towering over A-Rod. The height difference is quite visible in the image (tweet) below.

Later, he admitted that he is not the 7-foot-1 giant that people think he is. After playing with the hoax for decades, he finally confessed the truth. He?said?he is 6-foot-11 and played the game like he was 7-foot-1.

We still don’t know why the hoax was needed, as he looked tall enough to have that dominance on the court. But we can say one thing for sure, he did make the Yankees legend look like an average-sized man. When, in fact,?A-Rod, himself is 6-foot-3, which is 6 inches more than the average height of a USA male.?

A-Rod and Shaq are business partners

The esports industry has become a go-to industry for investors in 2022, of which A-Rod and Shaq bought stakes in the NRG group when esports was still in its developing phase. NRG chairman, Andy Miller, said the two legends approached NRG for the investment.

The buying of stakes in the NRG group may have led the two to become business partners, but their partnership is way different from NBA and MLB.

Shaq also invested in Google, way before it became the giant that it is today. In addition to this, he owns seven Auntie Anne’s Pretzels restaurants, as well as nine Papa John’s franchise units. Not only this, but he has also invested in Lyft, Ring, and Vitaminwater.

In terms of investment, Shaq is not the only one leading. The Yankees legend is also well-known for his investments. Apart from buying a stake in the NRG group, A-Rod is a part owner of the team, Minnesota Timberwolves. He is also the part owner of the Professional Fighters League. His company in real estate now has private equity and venture investments.
