After a rocking start to the 2022 season, the LA Angels seem to lose their winning track. Nathaniel Lowe of the Texas Rangers belted a late walk-off home run to win the game against the Angels.

When the regular season kicked off, baseball fans expected the Rangers to have a good season, given the strength of their squad. But they did not have a solid start to the season, losing nine out of the first 11 games of the 2022 season.

The Angels were just the opposite of their previous season. With Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, and Anthony Rendon by their side, the Angels dominated the AL West for a while. But now, in the middle of the season, the Angels are showing their true colors. Once again, they have lost the momentum they built at the start of the season.

Baseball fans shower praise on Texas Rangers’ Nathaniel Lowe

Nathaniel Lowe had ice running through his veins against the LA Angels. The Rangers’ star not only won the game, but he also helped the Rangers to sweep the Angels. Yes! The Texas Rangers swept the Angels in a three-game series.

At once, in the ninth inning, the Rangers were trailing the Angels. Though the Rangers had already won the series, they were not even close to winning the third game. But a late-inning heroic from Lowe saved the day for the Rangers. Lowe smacked a two-run walk-off home run in the tenth inning to win it for his team.

After this win, baseball fans could not control their emotions and heaped praise on the Rangers star. Taking to Twitter, MLB fans shared their emotions for Lowe.

One MLB called Lowe her hero for what he did against the Angels, while another one referred Lowe to as an animal of the game. He said it was much-needed for Nathaniel to sweep against the Angels.

A Rangers fan even said that he never doubted Lowe. Brice Paterik of Dallas News admitted to being wrong about Nathaniel Lowe’s hitting capacity.

Joe Maddon believes the AL West is the toughest division

Talking about the game, the Angels’ manager congratulated the Rangers on their fantastic victory. But Maddon also said that the AL West is so difficult to play.

They played as well. They beat us fair and square. So give them credit that they’ve been ascending a bit. It’s just another example of why our division is so difficult.
