After years of waiting, the New York Yankees’ legendary captain, Derek Jeter, has finally made his social media debut. Jeter took Twitter and Instagram by storm when he announced his arrival in the virtual world.

Notably, the Yankees fans will be delighted to see their fabulous captain on social media platforms. Even after years of his retirement, Jeter holds a special place in the heart of the Yankees fans. Because, ever since his retirement, the Pinstripes are yet to find his replacement and appoint someone captain for their side. Such was his career.

But unlike everyone else, Jeter’s wife, Hannah Jeter, did not miss the chance to pull a leg of the Yankees great, while introducing him into the new world.

Hannah Jeter welcomes Derek Jeter in style

Derek Jeter and Hannah Jeter have been together for over five years. Notably, the couple got married in 2016, two years after the Captain retired from the game. Earlier on Tuesday, Hannah welcomed Derek on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Hannah shared an adorable childhood picture of the former Yankees player and captioned it, “It’s never too late to be an influencer. You got this babe.”

Hours after making his social media debut, Jeter got phenomenal responses from his fans and well-wishers. As of now, he has already gained 170K-plus followers on his Instagram account. He shared a video as his first post on Instagram and asked his fans to take it easy on him on this new platform.
