Carlos Rodon using Yankee fans’ Venmo money for a good cause

This is how he recalled the story: Carlos Rodon and his cousin, Ethan, are driving in rural Indiana when they spot a young boy getting off a school bus near a wooden shack in the middle of nowhere. They can’t shake off the image of this kid and Ethan suggests they do something kind for him someday. They, however, never got around to it.

Years passed, and one day, they drive by the spot again and were dismayed to see that the shack had burned down. But instead of just moving on, Carlos and Ethan decided to find the boy and give him a pleasant surprise. And how did they fund this good deed? With the money that the generous Yankees fans had sent him on Venmo, of course.
