Finally, three months after the New York Yankees exited the 2022 postseason and Aaron Judge entered free agency, the Pinstripes have officially re-signed their star outfielder.
Although it was confirmed from various sources that Judge will stay in the Bronx, there was no official confirmation of the same from the Yankees’ front office. And now, when the Pinstripes have announced Judge’s new contract, the Yankees fans are more than relieved for the same.

That’s exactly what they did. After the Yanks offered Judge a $300 million, eight-year deal, the Giants topped it with a deal neighboring $350 million, for nine years. However, there’s something about New York, New Yorkers, and the New York Yankees that found Judge a $360 million deal for nine years. The same Yankee emotion managed to bring Judge back to where he belongs.

Notably, Judge’s 2022 season concluded with 62 homers, at 0.311, with 177 hits and 131 runs batted in.

During the 2022 offseason, the Yanks offered Aaron Judge a $230 million deal for eight years. But Judge demanded a more noteworthy and lengthy deal, despite not having a list of accomplishments to stand on.
Lucky for Judge, rejecting the initial deal resulted in one of the greater decisions of his life. And with the conclusion of 2022, the reigning AL MVP bagged himself an extended year, and an additional $130 million.
