The fiercest rivalry in MLB that has stood through the stand of time is between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. While playing for over 20 years of baseball for the New York Yankees, Derek Jeter has also shared his fair share of love from the rivals Red Sox fans.

Even though the Red Sox fans never liked Jeter playing for a rival team throughout his career, when Jeter played his last game, he got a standing ovation from the Red Sox fans in their own territory, Fenway Park. The fans knew how great of a player he was. Therefore, when his career was ending, they knew they had to appreciate him for being a wonderful baseball player.?
It was the rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox that always kept the fans ignited.
