This will help commemorate players’ starting milestones at the MLB level. New York Yankees’ Anthony Volpe will be one among many debutants this year to have that special patch.

In a Tweet, FOX Sports: MLB said, “Starting today, every player making their debut will wear an ‘MLB Debut’ patch on their jersey for their first game! 📷: @MLB”. They shared a picture of what the patch will look like along with the Tweet.
