Deion Sanders’ intense win in his debut game in charge has left the Colorado team with an impressive win and is causing a media wave all over the country. The sudden interest in the already decorated star is causing several to look back on his meetings with iconic stars and one stands out from the others as perhaps more awkward than the rest. Meeting with Derek Jeter, Coach Prime can be seen exchanging pleasantries with the Pinstripes’ icon before introducing his family.

The two seem to engage in some light banter before Sanders leaves the setting chuckling away awkwardly perhaps looking to exit the situation.

Having played in both the Super Bowl and the World Series, Coach Prime was clearly one who understood the need of the hour. His rousing speech inspired his players to a dramatic win in just his debut game. The win has generated intrigue and interest all over the country, especially for the player who has had such an illustrious career.

Never the easiest thing to speak to your fellow athletes, but the two seemed to handle the opportunity with panache. While Sanders ejected himself from the conversation, he did so smiling all the way and Jeter did not look too upset either.
