Per CBS Sports, the Montreal Expos (now the Washington Nationals) selected Brady as the 507th pick in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB draft. At this time, Brady was only 17-year-old. Even in his high school days, Tom Brady played varsity baseball for almost years as a left-handed catcher.

Tom Brady paid tribute to the Boston Red Sox after his retirement

Tom Brady’s love for baseball and the Boston Red Sox is not a secret anymore. Even when Brady announced his retirement earlier this year, he had thanked the Red Sox and paid a tribute by saying, “where it all started.”
