Now, 48 Hours Before Super Bowl LVII, the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs and MLB Kansas City Royals have teamed up to pay homage to a classic movie moment that’s sure to delight baseball and film fans alike. Using their own mascots, they’ve recreated a scene from the unforgettable comedy, ‘Dumb and Dumber’ and it’s simply delightful!

The Kansas City Royals Twitter page recently shared a video that will have MLB and NFL fans in stitches. In a nod to the iconic comedy Dumb and Dumber, the Chiefs mascot and Royals mascot teamed up for a hilarious skit, right before Super Bowl LVII is about to go live. The skit was beckoning football fans to join the teams in Arizona!

Now on with the video! The Chief’s mascot is seen loitering on the side of a deserted road with his googly eyes going wild, while the Royals mascot makes a grand entrance on a tiny motorcycle. 

As the Royals mascot pulls up next to the Chief’s mascot, the two mascots engage in a comedic exaggerated dance that would make the great Charlie Chaplin proud, missing each other’s high five akin to the classic movie, which is just perfect.

The Royals mascot, who has taken up most of the seat on the tiny bike, gestures for the Chiefs’ mascot to hop on the back. And with the Chief’s mascot somehow squeezing in with half his butt hanging out and a sign stuck to the back that reads “AZ or Bust” (Quite subtle, ain’t it?), the two set off on their journey to Arizona.
