As the Major League Baseball season remains 60 days away, the NFL’s season is drawing to a close, with the two Super Bowl contenders already determined and set to face off on February 13th. During the National Football Conference final, when the Eagles faced off against the San Francisco 49ers at Lincoln Financial Field, quarterback Brock Purdy was forced to leave the field due to a right elbow injury and could not return, likely costing the 49ers the match. In response, MLB veteran Lenny Dykstra took to Twitter to offer a supportive message, with a strong undertone for the 2022 NFL draft’s “Mr. Irrelevant”.
What would possibly seem like Dykstra shying away from his newly developing notorious Twitter personality turned out to be just another typical Dykstra tweet.
