In a rather short tweet, Jeter said, “Go Blue!!!” following the Wolverines’ win over the Ohio State Buckeyes yesterday. Jeter seems to be a big supporter of the Michigan Wolverines football team. And was seen supporting them recently.

The former Yankee made a rare public appearance recently to watch the Michigan Wolverines play the Michigan State Spartans in October. Notably, Jeter and his wife attended the game together. Jeter even took the time to talk to the players.

Talking about Jeter, the former Yankee received a scholarship offer to play at the University of Michigan but turned it down to enter the MLB Draft. He attended some classes at the University of Michigan in the Fall. This was just before he was drafted by the Yankees.
