Per an interview with Associated Press in 2019, the former New York Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez talked about his relationship with legendary quarterback Tom Brady. While he praised Brady for being an extraordinary athlete, the Yankees legend also shared his excitement for his appearance on television during the Super Bowl commercial.

“I get a chance to watch a great friend Tom Brady, who is almost as old as I am, and he came out of Michigan. He is such a great great guy. so, I am thrilled about that…And what I am most excited about it because we planned it at home all the time is that my beautiful kids at home are going to watch that on Super Bowl Sunday. Not playing, but on a commercial,” Alex Rodriguez said in 2019.

“There is no such thing as retirement from baseball. Baseball has been my life since I was in my mommy’s tummy and it would be when they put me in a coffin. It means everything to me. It is in my blood,” A-Rod added.

Will there be another Brady in the NFL?

As things stand, Tom Brady is the most successful athlete in the NFL. Having already won seven Super Bowls for the Patriots and Buccaneers, Brady is still going strong in his 40s.
