Per NJ.com, the former New England Patriots star Tom Brady and ex-Yankee Alex Rodriguez, paired with their respective partners Gisele Bundchen and Jennifer Lopez, were the best-dressed sports power couple at Met Gala 2019.

The 2019 Met Gala theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” was an inspiration by a seminal 1964 essay by Susan Sontag; in which she described the phenomenon as something that shan’t be talked about: “To talk about Camp is therefore to betray it.“

Coming down to A-Rod and Brady, in 2019, no one really expected that the two sports stars will not be with their partners after a few years. Notably, A-Rod and J.Lo already got separated in 2021 with mutual consent. And now, Brady and Gisele have also announced their separation.

They announced their divorce after 13 years of their marriage. “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Tom wrote on Instagram.

Why did Brady and Gisele part ways?

As of now, neither Tom Brady nor Gisele has cited the main reason behind ending their 13-year marriage. But the two were on the same page while announcing their separation. Taking to Instagram, Gisele also said that she felt blessed for the time she spent with Tom.

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy… I feel blessed for the time we spent together and only wish the best for Tom always,” Gisele wrote on Instagram.
