“I don’t think I said I badly needed (leaving the Yankees). But I think it was good for both sides… They (the Yankees) got a great All-Star outfielder (Andrew Benintendi) to play in my place. So, I never have any hard feelings about that. I did not do my job to my abilities,” the former Yankees outfielder said.

He also opened up about his new home in Los Angeles and how he is loving his new home.
“I am living by the beach right now. So, that’s pretty nice, compared to New York,” Gallo added. “And no offense to New York, but I was living in a small apartment for the same price.”

If comparing his numbers at both teams, Gallo has been hitting .267 in six games for the Dodgers compared to the .159 with the Yankees. Not only this, but ever since he joined the Dodgers, they have not lost a single league game. And the Yankees are struggling to win a game.
