Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez has a long list of accolades he received during his lengthy career in Major League Baseball. During this time, he earned countless accolades and formed his magnanimous stature. Rodriguez, after separating from ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis in 2008, dated quite a few women. However, the highlight of his various relationships is the four-year-long relationship with pop icon Jennifer Lopez. The two of them continued to motivate each other throughout their relationship and became one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. Additionally, they had also beautifully blended their family with both of their children.

When there are kids, there is meant to be chaos, and it was precisely the case with Rodriguez’s daughters and JLo’s twins. But according to, the former Yankee said the scenario at their house used to look entirely different when only A-Rod was at home as opposed to when Lopez was.

A job of a mother can be done only by a mother. Lopez, by every account, acted as a mother figure for both of A-Rod’s girls. Thus, the former Yankee found it hard to parent all four kids without JLo. When Alex and Jen got engaged in 2019, they became a tight-knit family of six. The mighty baseball icon Alex Rodriguez, who thousands of people used to come to see him play, remained unheard at his own house by his own kids.

During his interview with People in 2019, A-Rod joked, “We have four kids, and no one listens to Dad.” While talking about life at home when Lopez isn’t, Rodriguez said, “Before she gets home, I’m the boss. When I get home, I’m security, I’m Uber, I’m the teacher.”

However, the situation changed as soon as the Hustler’s actress used to come home. Then, according to the host Andy Cohen, “When she gets home, she’s the boss.” The former athlete and the pop icon had created a beautiful family. Even though they couldn’t last longer than four years, the love that they shared as a family was true.

 When did the ex-celeb couple meet for the first time?

In the year 2001, A-Rod met Jen as her fan and also took her autograph. It was the very first time that the two of them had met. However, it wasn’t for a long time. Then, four years later, during a Yankees game, Rodriguez and Lopez met again and felt weird electricity between them. But they couldn’t have dated each other because both of them were married to different people at the time.  Then, because of an accidental run-in twelve years later, in 2017, they met, instantly clicked, and started dating each other. And the rest is history.
