MLB legend Alex Rodriguez dated the pop icon Jennifer Lopez for over four years before their high-profile breakup in 2021. However, before breaking up, both A-Rod and JLo achieved many milestones together. And they were also one of the most powerful couples in Hollywood. Rodriguez, being who he is, has excelled in many things in life, but singing is not one of them.

Hence, whenever it came to anything close to singing, Alex trusted his then-fiancee Jennifer Lopez for it. Being with JLo, A-Rod’s fame also increased, and during the relationship, he attended various shows, including the Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon. During one of the segments of the show, the former Yankee credited JLo as being the singer of their relationship.

In January 2021, when A-Rod appeared on Fallon’s show, he played a game called the singing whisper challenge. For those unversed, in this game, one person wears noise-canceling headphones while the other one sings or speaks the lyrics of a song, and the former has to guess it.

Back in 2021, while putting up the video on his Instagram, A-Rod captioned it, “I normally let @jlo do all the singing but for @jimmyfallon I made an exception. So do I have a career as “The Song Whisperer”?? What did you guys think?”

In the four years that the couple spent together, the fourteen time all-star never once let any moment by without praising his then-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. And this was one of those moments.
