New York Yankees entering the postseason seemed impossible at the time. But not only did they grab a postseason berth, but they also won the AL East, then ALDS, which also didn’t seem like they would at one point. Now they are in the ALCS, and three games are already done, but the Yanks did not win any one of them. The whole team, including the manager, Aaron Boone, is understandably frustrated and upset about the team’s performance.
One more game remains, and if the team does not win, the chance at World Series 28 will be over. After losing out on the third game against the Houston Astros, manager Aaron Boone talked about the struggles of the team’s offense. It definitely is not something anyone would have thought would happen. But the fans believe that there’s still hope for the team to turn it around as they did in the regular season and ALDS.

“Obviously, a frustrating day,” Boone said. “Felt like we had some pitches with [Cristian] Javier to do some things with it, but just fouled some pitches off. I thought there were some good at-bats sprinkled in there, but obviously not able to mount enough.”

It is not like they are not trying. But the other team, the Houston Astros, is a bit better than the Yanks right now. The Astros have taken a 3-0 lead over the Pinstripes, which is a great thing for them.
Even if the Yankees lose the fourth game of the ALCS, there will still be a next time. And the Yankees will still remain the team having the most World Series Rings in the history of baseball.
