Although many might not agree, the Yankees GM Brian Cashman has also played a huge role in the team’s success. Notably, he has been serving the Bronx Bombers for the last 25 years.

However, the Pinstripes fans always find a way to blame their GM for the title drought in the Bronx. Recently, when Cashman completed his 25 years in the esteemed organization, to his dismay, the Yankees fanbase went berserk and started criticizing him for his incapability as one of the top executives.

The fanbase brought out everything that Cashman has done in his tenure as General Manager. They also pointed out that the work done by him hasn’t led the team anywhere near their 28th World Series win.

Following are some of the reactions of the Yankees fanbase to Cashman’s interview after being named GM.

But to say that the fans are angry would be an understatement. The fans remember that ever since the 21st century started; the Yanks have won only two World Series. The Core 4 made it happen, and since then, in 20 years, they’ve won only one pennant. Notably, the fans are furious and are not happy that Cashman’s contract got extended for another four years. 

How did the Yankees play in 2022?

On his way to completing his twenty-fifth year in the Bronx as the Yankees’ GM, Cashman’s hard work led the team to ALCS. But only to get swept up by the Astros. They once again failed to win a pennant with subpar play.
