Out of the many faces that are on the injured list of New York Yankees, one is the center fielder Harrison Bader. The Yankees star has shown immense talent on the plate ever since he made his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals back in 2017. Recently, Bader got himself placed on the injured list after suffering a right hamstring strain. And now, he opted out of the crucial game against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Bader’s unavailability on the plate has come after going through yet another devastating setback this season. The very first setback of this season for him came when the slugger got injured in the spring training, causing him to miss out on starting a few games of the 2023 season. But if it wasn’t for this setback, could Hader have stopped the Yanks from suffering a horrifying defeat??

Tough time for the New York Yankees!

It is indeed a challenging time for the Bronx Bombers, as it recently got revealed that a total of $88,000,000 worth of players are sitting on the injured list. One of them is $5.2 million star player Harrison Bader. However, the others on the IL are as crucial to the team as Bader, if not more. Those names include the captain Aaron Judge, aces Carlos Rodon and Nestor Cortes Jr., and a couple of other players.

Renowned MLB journalist Mike Daddino posted an update on Bader, quoting Randy J Miller. According to the update, before returning to the plate, Harrison will have to play two more rehab games. And then, his second stint on this year’s injured list will get over on the coming Tuesday.?

This update shows Bader is doing good, and after only two more rehab games, he’ll be back. Even so, it cannot help but make one wonder if he had returned before last night’s game. Would the Yanks have suffered such a terrible defeat at the hands of their fiercest rival??

How has the Yankees star played until now?

From the moment Bader got traded to the Yankees in 2022, he has hit a total of six home runs. If seen from one side, this number might look less. But looking at this number after having a brief look at his MLB history shows how talented of a player he is.?

Hence, despite him hitting only six home runs so far wearing the pinstripes, the fanbase is rooting for him to get signed by the team on a long-term contract.?
