If you were to bet on the most popular Halloween look this season, Phillies Karen might be it. Interestingly, the Philadelphia Phillies seem to think so, too. From grey wigs to black glasses and a white Phillies hoodie—couldn’t be better! Apparently, the entire ‘Phillies Karen’ debacle is still carrying on. The Internet’s latest obsession was recently discussed on the Bleacher Report podcast, with Dodgers star Mookie Betts and Phillies’ $100 million star weighing in with hilarious jabs.

The unidentified woman’s decision to wrestle Harrison Bader’s home run ball from the 10-year-old Lincoln is proving to be costly. During On Base with Mookie Betts’ latest episode, he had Nick Castellanos over as they discussed the infamous Phillies fan confrontation.
Delivering his savage take on Phillies Karen, Castellanos said, “This woman was obviously mad about a lot of other things in her life. So then this one instance happened. So now, like everything that she has been mad about for years, it all came out in this one moment where she felt like this man stole her opportunity for happiness.”

Castellanos, who always aims for a kid to get the ball while playing as a catcher, was baffled by the woman’s act. Further, he added, “This thing happened and she’s like, I’m not finishing second here. I need this for me, you know, and like, I was completely oblivious to the fact that this man was getting it for his son.” The way Casty views this incident, it was more than a squabble.
It was that woman’s outburst of bottled-up emotions. His take was agreed upon by Betts, too. The way Betts sees it, she had a “couple of demons” in her, as he jokingly claimed.

Further, Castellanos recalled the aftermath of the incident. His locker room was right next to Harrison Bader’s, and so he was present when the media relations team explained the situation to the Phillies and asked Bader to step in.
Without a second thought, Bader agreed to make things right and gifted the birthday boy, Lincoln, his signed bat. For now, the Phillies’ Karen still remains unidentified, and Lincoln’s dad expects the country to be kind towards her.

Lincoln’s dad expressed his concern over Phillies’ Karen
The entire saga seems to be never-ending. This week, three fans showed up to a Dodgers game dressed head-to-toe in Phillies Karen attire. Later, the Philadelphia Phillies even reposted the viral picture of those three. Around the same time, a man and a woman posed as her at Citizens Bank Park. Meanwhile, in the Savannah Bananas’ world, they recently recreated the entire confrontation incident in a playful way.
While that’s fun and all, Lincoln’s dad, Drew Feltwell, recently shared his concern over that woman. It was clearly a bittersweet night for the father-son duo. First, Feltwell admitted that it wasn’t fair what she did. “She was very vulgar. She was screaming in my ear, saying, ‘That’s my ball. That’s my section,” he claimed. Of course, being there with his son and daughter, he wasn’t willing to escalate it any further. He handed the ball to her to stay away from the drama.

Given the intensity and power of the Internet, he urged the country to let this incident go. “Please don’t do anything to that lady. Leave it alone,” he said while speaking with USA Today. “The internet already messed her up pretty good.” That’s true. The netizens have gone above and beyond to find her profile. The Phillies nation already has a reputation for being intense, and it’s now concerning that this Phillies Karen debacle refuses to settle down.
In fact, just some days ago, an American Company even offered her $5,000 if she revealed her identity and surrendered the ball. The firm is named Blowout Cards, and while elaborating on the offer, they had clearly noted that it’s 100% authentic. Now, it was far from expected that being just days away from October, the MLB world would be talking about the infamous Karen instead of winning odds. Curious to see how much further this Phillies Karen drama takes us.
