The couple dated for two years before they got engaged in 2019. However, back in 2017, when the couple had just begun dating, Jennifer Lopez arrived on ‘The Late Night Show with James Corden.’ And the popular TV host didn’t leave any chance to question J.Lo about her recently evolving relationship with former Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez.
Jennifer Lopez couldn’t stop blushing
During that time, A-Rod and J.Lo visited Miami. Analogous to that, Corden asked J.Lo, “You’ve been spending some time in Miami. I’ve seen some photos of you in Miami.” Consequently, the audience, Justin Theroux, and Terry Cruz burst into laughter. Corden continues his incessant questions and eventually asks J.Lo whether she’s been spending time with anyone in particular.
J.Lo, humorously but reluctantly, responds by saying, “Please don’t do this to me. What do you want me to say?”
After a series of multiple attempts and ceaseless questioning, J.Lo finally gives in by admitting that she’s been spending some time with Alex Rodriguez, before diving into a spring of praises for the former slugger. After being called a “devilishly handsome couple” by James Corden, J.Lo says, “Thank you! He’s the best. You would love him. He’s a great guy. He’s fun, he’s awesome. “
And soon, the group entered into some friendly banter where Jennifer Lopez continues praising the former Yankee shortstop turned baseman, talking about how she met A-Rod. And how she calls him “Alex” which leaves everyone in tears of adoration.
